Ms. Zobott - Math!

Welcome to Ms. Zobott's math class! Mathematics is the study of patterns and relationships, and we will strive to notice, describe, and generalize patterns each day.  Remember that everyone CAN get better at math!  Students can access class material through Google Classroom.  Everyday I will post our learning target, notes/class materials, and any homework.

Google Classroom Codes

Period 2 - Geometry - xyo7hba

Period 4 - AP Statistics - w2m7lrb

If you find that you need extra help or time understanding what we are learning and practicing in class, there are a few options.

  • The SHS Math Center is open every period during the school day and everyday after school.  There is ALWAYS has a math teacher on duty ready to help!  I am in the Math Center this year during 5th hour!

  • Set up a time with Ms. Zobott to get help after school.  I will do my best to post when I am available, but if it's not posted, just ask!  I will do my best to offer support when I am available.

  • Many libraries, community centers, and other organizations offer tutoring and homework help.  Let me know if you need help finding a resource like this!

About Ms. Zobott

Hello! I am originally from Flagstaff, AZ.  I earned a B.S.Ed. in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University and an M.A.T. from Hamline University.  I love teaching, and as all of my students can tell you, I think math is just fantastic.  This will be my 13th year teaching and my 9th year at South.  My goal is that all my students will learn to enjoy mathematics, improve their skills as mathematicians, and become better learners and wonderers.
