Put film critic on your resumé

Nextwave – MSP International Film Festival Youth Jury (ages 15-18)
MN high school students are invited to serve on a youth jury at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF).

Q: What is a film festival jury?
A: At film festivals around the world, filmmakers, film critics, and industry professionals are chosen to view the films and award the ‘best of the fest’.

At MSPIFF, five high school students will be selected to the jury to view and award the best of the Nextwave program of youth-made films (local and global films made by high school students).

MSPIFF Youth Jury is an empowering, educational experience in which youth voices will be heard and critical skills will be practiced.

It takes place the afternoon of Saturday, April 20 at St. Anthony Main Theatre in Northeast Minneapolis.

Limited Space: Jury Application deadline is March 15 at 5pm.
Youth Jury members will be selected to represent a range of perspectives, based on young applicants’ passion for film and storytelling media, authentic voice, and commitment.
