Tutoring|Study Options
  • SOUTH HIGH LIBRARY
    Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. | 247 | 
    The Librarians are available to help you to locate books, ebooks, articles, research, and resources.  Computers and printers are available to students.  Please stop by if you're having trouble with your MPS user name and password with any of the MPS applications. 
     
  • ALL NATIONS

    We provide a welcoming place to do homework, finish projects and get help in Math and English.
     
  • AVID
    Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:15-4 p.m. | 131 |  All are welcome
    A quiet, collaborative work space. This includes assistance with researching colleges, scholarships, FAFSA, and the application process.
     
  • EAST AFRICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION
    Tuesdays, 3:10-4 p.m. | 242 | All are welcome
    We provide space for studies, homework help and to make social connections. 
     
  • LAASS - LIBERAL ARTS AFTER-SCHOOL SESSION
    Wednesdays, 3:15-4:30 p.m. | Media Center-Library | 9th graders
    Freshmen (9th graders) in the Liberal Arts program are encouraged to seek help or be advised during this time.
     
  • LAASS - LIBERAL ARTS AFTER-SCHOOL SESSION
    Wednedays, 3:15-4:30 p.m. | 259 | 10th graders
    Sophomores (10th graders) in the Liberal Arts program are encouraged to seek help or be advised during this time.
     
  • NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY TUTORING
    Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays | 3:05-4 p.m. | Media Center-Library | All are welcome
    Members conduct after-school tutoring sessions for students needing help with assignments.

    During the day- NHS tutors assist students in the Math Center and Writers' Room.
     
  • OPEN STUDY
    Thursdays, 3:15-4 p.m. (sometimes later) | 326B & 333
    An Open program teacher in each subject is available to help students catch up on assignments, keep up and get extra help.
     
  • WORLD LANGUAGE TEACHERS
    Before and after school, by appointment.
    Language students needing help are encouraged to arrange for tutoring time with their respective language teacher.
