With his breakthrough play, "Hit the Wall" and subsequent works "Exit Strategy" and "Sender," South High alum Ike Holter garnered a Windham Campbell Prize, awarded by Yale, and considered the most lucrative in playwrighting. The prize organization's write up: "Holter has emerged from Chicago’s indie scene to become one of American theater’s most exciting young artists."
