Future Aviators and Flight Service Personnel--Here is a local camp for you, with scholarships available:

Wind Step Program - Geographical Information Sciences and wind energy.  Applications accepeted until filled.

ESP - Engineering Summer Program at the University of WI-Madison--Phenomenal summer residency program sponsored by UW Engineering and Office of Diversity.  Apply now!

Wolfram Summer Institute at Bentley University, Waltham MA - June 18 - July 7.  Exciting opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Wolfram language and computer science in general.

Polar Exploration with Dartmouth University - Application deadline January 31.

High-Tech Kids (fees and locations very--wide range of courses including LEGO and other robotics)

Leonardo's Basement  Explore the intersections of engineering, technology, design and  the arts! (accessible, local, fees vary)

Advanced Program in Technology and Science, St. Cloud State University  (Boarding camp for grades 10 - 11, priority to groups underrepresented in science fields)   

Purpose: This is a special program for high ability, high potential 10th and 11th grade students who are seriously interested in a future in technology, science, mathematics or engineering.

Program Activities: The  three-week residential program will focus on scientific research for students from historically underrepresented groups and expose them to career options in technology. They will meet positive role models in these fields. Sessions will encourage professional mentor/mentee relationships. Students of color and female students are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility: Students currently in 10th and 11th grade. No previous experience with computers or science is required. All eligible students are encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria:
1) Priority given to members of groups underrepresented in science fields 
2) Willingness to learn and cooperate
3) Students in 10th or 11th grades as of September 2015
4) The program will seek ethnic, gender, regional, and social diversity among participants. 
5) Timeliness of application
6) Teacher Recommendation
Please note that not all applicants may be accepted because of a limited number of positions.
