Site Council

Site Council is the policy-making body for South High School, comprised of staff, parents and community members. We provide direction to administration, with the shared goal of enhancing student achievement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Long-range planning
  • Development and oversight of the School Improvement Plan (SIP)
  • Monitoring of the school budget
  • Regular assessment of shared-decision making

Interview Committee


The interview team numbers 16, with an even split of interviewers and observers. It is comprised of 5 teachers, 2 parents, 3 students, 2 community members, 1 administrator, 1 counselor, 1 South High Foundation member, and 1 MPS partner from Phillips Indian Education.
