Celebrate fall, and join us at South High's American Indian Fall Family Welcome event, set for Tuesday, Sept. 28, 4-6 p.m. Food from PowWow Grounds! We'll be in the commons and on the practice field, weather permitting. Share our flyer

PSAT sign-up now open to 10th graders

Sophomores (10th graders), are now eligible along with Juniors (11th graders) to sign up for the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. Seats are limited. Reserve yours. Test date: Oct. 13, 2021 | Cost: $25 | Details | Deadline: Oct. 11, 8 a.m.

Tiger parents and guardians, you're invited to Parent Night, Thursday, Sept. 30. Come 5:30-6:30, for open house time, and 6:30-8:10, to attend your child's classes! Prepare by asking your high schooler for schedule and room numbers. See details in English, Spanish, Somali.

Experience Parent Night in Spanish & Somali

Multilingual families, are invited to the AUDITORIUM, 6:30-8:10 p.m., during Parent Night, Sept. 30. Via interpreters, hear from staff, who teach and support students and learn how we see parents as school partners in their success.

Travel the world with South High

Prior to Parent Night, in the 5-6 p.m. window, attend an informational meeting about the SHS Travel Club and summer of '22 excursions to Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands; and to Japan. Please RSVP and meet in room 258.

Families of 9th graders, please read

To evaluate the experience of 9th graders, taking Ethnic Studies as a graduation requirement, Project UNITE (UNderstanding Identity Through Education) will assess and survey student experiences. Read important details in English, Spanish, Somali, Hmong and view this video.
