South High School is distinguished for its exemplary academic programs, dynamic theater and music productions, studies in engineering, visual arts and world languages! We embrace all students and are proud of our diversity. 

No school Monday and Tuesday

Classes will not be in session Monday, Feb. 17 for Presidents Day, nor Tuesday, Feb. 18 for Conference Day, which means Tigers can look forward to an extended weekend!  School resumes Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Winter Conferences set for Tuesday, Feb. 18

Families of students in the South High All Nations program are invited to conference with teachers, Tuesday, Feb. 18:

Register for AP exams at conferences

Advanced Academics Coordinator, Fred Cheng will register all Advanced Placement students for May exams. First semester and full-year students, who missed November deadline, may still register, with late fee. Second semester students pay regular fee. See payment details.

Save time at conferences

Bring a list of your child's teachers. Find on the parent portal. Or ask your child for schedule, and write down, or take a photo. Room numbers are not necessary. If not possible, or time doesn't allow, no worries. Our social workers will do a schedule look up for you!

Get help with financial aid

College-bound students don't pass up your chance at money needed to make your dreams come true! Attend a hands-on workshop for families, who need assistance with financial aid applications, Thursday, Feb. 20, 5-8 p.m., South High. | Flyer

Select courses for 2020-21

Current 9th,10th and 11th graders will soon choose classes for next school year. The registration process kicks off with presentations in science classes, followed by meetings with counselors during English classes. Students are encouraged to discuss options with their families.
