"Becoming Effective Learners" survey due FRIDAY



  • This is a survey, conducted by the University of Chicago, is in its pilot year at MPS.
  • It measures student non-cognitive factors in the classroom, in order to better understand the relationship between student classroom experience, psychological and behavioral engagement, and course performance.

  • This is for research and district-level improvement purposes only.

  • Results from this survey will help inform the grade 9 on-track/transition to grade 9 work, aimed at reducing course failure and increasing graduation rates. 

  • Important note: This survey data will NOT be used to evaluate teacher performance.
