The season again opened with the cross-conference meets against the St. Paul schools.  The first opponent was Highland Park.  The team lost 120-9-114.425.  They bounced back against Como Park.  Como Park did not test the Tigers.  South/Roosevelt won 115.875-65.735.  The team then took on Central and lost 120.875-104.025.  They finished the St. Paul crossover with a 2-2 record when the Tigers defeated Johnson 115.3-99.45.

The Tigers opened the conference meet against Washburn.  The Millers put up a struggle, but the Tigers came out on top 121.2-109.2.  Next came the Edison/Henry/North squad, who did not challenge the Tigers.  South/Roosevelt won easily 113.95-63.7.

Before facing Southwest for the conference title, South/Roosevelt participated in the Henry Sibley meet.  The Tigers again finished second out of six teams, losing only to host Henry Sibley.

The final regular season meet of the season was against Southwest for the conference title.  The two squads were evenly matched.  The final results came down to the last meet.  South pulled out a close 121.85-120.725 win for the conference championship.

The last meet of the season was the Region 6AA Meet.  South finished a disappointing seventh out of eight teams.  Eden Prairie represented the Region at the State Tournament.
