The 2007-2008 Cross Country season began for South like any other.  Practice began in August, with meets scheduled from the end of August through October.  The hope for all is to make it to the State Meet.

South opened the season at the Nokomis Invitational.  The Tigers placed 10th.  At the Mounds View Mustang Invitational, South finished 14th.

South participated in the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota.  This meet has grown so popular that it has to be divided into two high school divisions.  In the Gold Division where the Tigers participated, over 100 schools participated!!!  South finished 80th.

The Blaine Bengal Invitational has also grown, so there are two divisions.  In the White Division, South finished sixth.

South finished the regular season with a 19th place finish in Class AA at the Swain Invitational in Duluth.

In the Conference Meet, South finished second.  The season ended at the Region 6AA Meet where the Tigers finished 10th.

Mark Gross was the Head Coach for the second season.
