Again, turmoil began the season as the Gymnasts had the fourth different head coach in as many years.  With this type of upheaval, the Tigers were unsure what would happen.  Would the new coach, K. Bouge, also be here for only one year or would she stay and grow the program?

The team opened the season with their worst conference showing in years, losing to Southwest 114-96.45.  The team lacked the confidence of those in the prior years against Southwest.  South then took on the Polars of North.  Like last season, Henry/North kept the score close, but South was the victor, 90.7-84.75.  The final match before Winter Break was against Edison.  For the third straight meet, South failed to score over 100 points.  Edison won 100.4-91.25.

South picked up where they left off when break ended.  The first meet, against Washburn, was also a loss, 89.05-85.95.  The Tigers then lost to Southwest for the second time in the season.  This meet was not close with the Tigers losing by almost 30 points, 124.2-94.35.

South picked up their last two wins of the season, defeating Henry/North for the second time, 90.65-89.9 and Roosevelt, 98.8-95.8.

The season ended with a second loss to Washburn, 110.45-97.35.

In the Conference Meet, South finished a disappointing 4th place, only edging out Henry/North and Roosevelt.

In the regular season final standings, South also finished in 4th place with a 3-5 record

During the regular season, the JV finished in last place with an 0-8 record.
