With the goal of making it back to the State Tournament, the South soccer team was on a mission.  With that in mind, the Tigers pushed forth into another season.

South opened the conference season with a 4-1 win over Edison.  The winning continued with a 5-1 win over Washburn and an 8-1 win over North.

Southwest scored the most of any conference team, but they fell 4-2.  Henry, 9-0, and Roosevelt, 5-1, also fell, giving the Tigers a perfect 6-0 conference record in the first half.

The second game against Edison was only negative result of the season.  No, the Tigers did not lose, but a 1-1 tie is not a win either.

The Tigers went through rest of the conference season undefeated.  Washburn fell 4-1.  North was next, 8-0, beginning a streak of four straight shutouts..  Southwest played a close game, but fell 1-0.  Henry lost 7-0.  The largest margin of victory was 10-0 against Roosevelt.

South won the Region tournament and for the third time made it to the State Tournament.
