1991-1992 Season

Two straight seasons advancing to the State Meet is amazing.  Going for a third straight shot at State was the goal of the team.  Coaches Warren Kaari and Craig Canham, in his 10th season as coach, knew what needed to be done to accomplish this.  The most important was to make sure the team worked as hard as they were able to.

As in the past seasons, the Tigers started at the Nokomis Invitational.  The team placed fifth.  Monticello was next and the team ended in eighth place.  At Apple Valley, the Tigers finished in seventh place.  They improved to second place at the Burnsville Invitational.  As in the past few seasons, the Tigers started warming up at the end of the season.  At the Anoka Invitational, South won the meet.

Again, the set up post-season for the Tigers.  South claimed the Conference Title again.

Next up was the Region Meet.  South scored 26 points, well ahead of second place Osseo.  This advanced the Tigers to the State Meet for the third consecutive season.

At State, the Tigers finished the best they have in history, ending in third place.
