South continued their conference domination under Head Coach Lisa Wilson, winning their fourth consecutive regular season championship.

South started the defense of their regular-season title with a win over Washburn.  South performed steadily and came out on top 116.55-100.9.  The second meet of the year was against Roosevelt.  Again, South won, 116.6-9.7.

The team took came out of Winter Break against a combined Henry/North team.  Even though South was playing TWO schools, the Tigers still came out on top, 119.3-99.

South then defeated Edison by the largest margin of the season, 133.55-92.3. 

The next conference meet was the closest of the year.  Southwest stayed with South the entire meet.  It came down to the last event.  South won 136.2-134.4.

South also played the Henry/North team a second time and won.  The score was not reported.

In the Conference Meet, South came away as the champions scoring 131.75 points.  The second place team, Southwest, scores 129.1. 

In the Twin City meet, South and Southwest both represented Minneapolis against St. Paul Central and Cretin-Derham Hall.  This year the conferences returned to taking the top two teams for a four-team meet. South finished third, behind Central and Cretin. 

The JV team also went undefeated finishing in first place with a 4-0 record.
