With only once returning veteran, Willard Hanley, it was a surprise when 20 young men showed up for the first day of practice.

In the first meet of the season, West defeated South 95-25.  Hanley tied with a West runner for first place.  The young McIntire and Dahlin finished in 11th and 12th place respectively.

On October 27, a rarity happened in cross country.  Roosevelt and South tied, each earning 60 points.  Hanley, Walsh, and McIntyre earned the first three places.

The State Meet was again held at the University of Minnesota.  South finished third.  Hanley placed fourth in the individual race.  Walsh was sixth and McIntire was 20th.  The top 20 runners were awarded medals.
