The second season of Boys Basketball at South began increasing the number of games from the four in the first season to eight this year.  Again, there is no record of who the coach was.

The team opened their season on November 27, 1902.  Their opponent, Company B of the Minnesota National Guard.  The National Guard is made up of men who are older than high school age.  Still, South came away with the victory, winning 16-10.

Their second game was scheduled against Stillwater.  Stillwater forfeited and South was awarded a 2-0 victory.

The Tigers next opponent was Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  This was a close game, with South pulling out an 11-9 win.

South returned to the National Guard, playing Battery B this time.  Battery B was no competition for the Tigers, with South winning easily 19-4.

For the first time, South played Central in a conference game on January 27, 1903.  However, there is no record of the final score.

South then played the team from Hudson, WI.  Again, South won easily 30-7. 

South played their second conference opponent, East.  There is no record of the final score, but South did win the contest.

South ended the season against St. Paul Central.  Again, South won, but there is no record of the score.

South finished the season with a 7-0 record (not counting the game there is no record for a score or result.)
