Stokes Educational Scholarship Program

The National Security Agency (NSA) is currently accepting applications from across the country for the Stokes Educational Scholarship Program. This tuition assistance program is looking for high school seniors, particularly minorities, who are interested in pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering.

Selected participants in the Stokes Program receive an annual salary, receive up to $30,000 for tuition and mandatory educational fees per academic year.

Qualifications

While the eligibility requirements for our Stokes Program are subject to change from year to year, below you will find our basic prerequisites.

  • High School Seniors (applying for Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering):
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Minimum SAT score of 1200 (600 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, 600 Math), or ACT score of 25,   or equivalent College Board Score.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities

Deadline:  October 31, 2018

Amount:  up to $30,000 per year for tuition and mandatory fees, and work during the summers at NSA in areas that are related to your course of study.
