I am proud to announce that Natasha Holtman won FIRST place in the senior paper category at National History Day!!!
Her paper is titled: A Covert from the Tempest: Responsibility, Love and Politics in Britain's Kindertransport
This has been the highlight of my teaching career. It is an awesome feeling to walk across that stage and to see your student achieve that level of success.
I would like to send out a big THANK you to the South High Foundation for sending Tasha and I to the National Competition at the University of Maryland.
I would also like to thank Richard Nohel for being interviewed and for letting Tasha read his father's manuscript on his personal family history which was an important part of her paper.
Have a great summer everyone!!
