Amy Cardarelle's Bio
I grew up in and went to Edina High School. I went on to play soccer at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and earned a degree in Education. My senior year at Wisconsin, we played in the Final Four for the Division 1 Women's National Soccer Championship. I have coached soccer for over 20 years after graduating from Wisconsin. I coached soccer at Edina, Blake and Minnetonka before my 15 years coaching at South. In addition to coaching soccer, I have also coached high school hockey, badminton and gymnastics. Besides coaching, I taught coaching theory at the University of MN for over 5 years.
I have a daughter who graduated from South in 2014 and is attending Drake college in Des Moines, IA and a son, who is a junior at Washburn. I am a co-owner of a land surveying business with my father, Frank. We currently live in Edina with our 2 dogs - Luna and Rosie.
