Culinary Camp

Explore the exciting culinary industry at the NDSCS Culinary Intensive.

  • 4 days

  • Must be 16+

  • Interested in Culinary careers

  • June 11-15 or June 18-22

  • Limited to 15 participants

  • $50 non-refundable registration fee due with application

  • $100 fee due at beginning of camp

Minnesota Children’s Museum

  • MCM is looking for students entering grades 9-12 to be a part of their Play Team - Students in Service Program

RCMS Regional Center for Mathematics and Science

  • Current 10th grade students

  • Free 6-week program held at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay

  • 2.3 GPA

  • Interest in math, science or engineering

  • Ability to be away from home and live on a college campus for a summer

  • Will be a first generation college student OR family meets the income requirement

First Step Summer Institute

St. Kate’s

  • Identify as a woman of color and/or Indigenous woman

  • Be enrolled in the 10th or the 11th grade and have at least a 2.75 grade point average (GPA)

  • Be interested in higher education

  • Demonstrate a willingness to make First Step your first priority

  • Complete the application

In this 4-day residential program, students gain a deeper sense of commitment to pursue higher education, a strong network of diverse, college-bound friends, a sense of support and encouragement from St. Kate's staff, faculty and students, more perspective on college living, and ultimately, increased self-esteem about their capacity to apply to and thrive in college.

  • Current 9th, 10th and 11th grade students

  • Live in Twin Cities Metro

  • Priority given to students who are 1st generation to attend college, eligible for free/reduced lunch, students of color


  • Learn more about exploring your future career, paying for college, debt, savings, and credit.

  • Explore the University of Minnesota and visit a local company.

  • Hear from guest speakers from a variety of fields.

  • Lunch, breakfast, and bus passes provided each day!

  • Receive a certificate of completion from the University of Minnesota.
