Requesting a Visit - Procedures for College, Scholarship, and Military Representative Visits

South welcomes well over 100 College and Program Representatives to our Career + College Center.

Admissions Staff: Please visit RepVisits Counselor Community to sign up for a visit. Look for us under South Senior. Admissions staff are welcome to visit 2x per year, once in fall with juniors & seniors and once in spring with juniors and seniors.

Students: Stop in the CCC for a pass. Teachers have the final agreement of student attendance. Students are welcome to attend up to 3 rep visits per semester. Visits with admissions staff gives students the opportunity to ask questions specific to the colleges that visit as well as learn more about college in general. Go to your NAVIANCE account to view the most up up to date list of scheduled visits. Go to Colleges and view Upcoming College Visits.

***STUDENT PROCEDURES***

We have numerous representatives from colleges and universities from across the country as well as from all branches of the military coming to visit with you—South students—about the opportunities available at their respective colleges and as participants of their specific programs. Representatives are primarily intersted in speaking with 12th (fall) and 11th (spring) grade students.

Where is the schedule of what colleges/institutions are visiting South High?

The full list of scheduled reps is available:

  • in print on the bulletin board outside the CCC (room 246)
  • South Homepage (Counseling, Career + College Center, Schedule)
  • Naviance

We’ll remind you of upcoming rep visits:

  • Daily announcements

  • South CCC Website
  • Email - only if the college is in your list of interests

How can students attend a college, career or military rep visit?
