Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship Contest

Basic Requirements: The contest is open to all high school students in the graduating classes of 2018 and 2019. There are no requirements for GPA, faith, after-school activities or clubs

Essay Topic: Discuss whether public school calendars should accommodate religious holidays


  • Essay must be 12-point type, double-spaced and single sided with title (no names) at the top of the page

  • 800 (minimum) -1,200 (maximum)words 

  • Submit essay, registration form, and essay advisor form

  • Applications must be postmarked on or before March 9, 2018
