Hi! I’m Ross Muellenberg, Special Education Resource Teacher at South High School. I spend most of my day teaching our Resource English classes where we work on basic reading comprehension and writing strategies. We will read four novels in class over the course of the year and students also read one book of their choice for their Book Study each quarter. Students also increase their writing ability by working on basic sentence writing, paragraph writing, story writing, and persuasive essays. Our goal is to increase each student’s core skills in order to prepare them to enter mainstream English classes as they progress through high school.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy watching The Walking Dead, playing broomball, and bouncing from coffee shop to coffee shop with a good novel.
