School starts Monday!

Welcome, Tigers! Classes begin Monday, Aug. 29. If you're unable to attend THURSDAY welcome events, please come to the auditorium early Monday for your schedule. NOTE: School-printed schedules will be the most accurate! Please do not rely on the portal for finalized updates.

Freshman orientation underway THURSDAY MORNING

Class of 2020, we are eagerly awaiting your arrival the MORNING of Thursday Aug. 25. Sessions for parents and students are on tap. Meet with our Link Crew, learn what's in store for you as proud and gallant South High Tigers!

Upperclassmen schedule pick-up is THURSDAY AFTERNOON

The AFTERNOON of Thursday, Aug. 25 is reserved for 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Come to campus, get schedules, bus cards, IDs, and more at designated times below. A 3-4 p.m. window is open for students with early afternoon time conflicts.

  • Sophomores - Noon to 1 p.m.
  • Juniors - 1 to 2 p.m.
  • Seniors -  2 to 3 p.m. 
  • All upperclassmen - 3 to 4 p.m.

Process for making requested scheduling changes

Students with schedule change requests MUST come to their counselor’s office during the hour of the problem on their schedule the first week of school. Requests will not be accepted via email. Please see how requests will be prioritized.
