Erin Brown graduated from St. Olaf College in 1996 with a BA in dance and went on to earn a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2004. Her life in the arts has included working as a choreographer and performer in Arizona, North Carolina, and Oklahoma where she co-founded a modern dance company. Her work as a dance educator includes teaching in public and private school settings in Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma and now Minnesota for the past twelve years in grades K-12. In 2008 she began teaching theater and also became involved in musical theater with Ardmore Little Theater company in Oklahoma where she performed for two seasons. Brown relocated to Minneapolis and joined the South High faculty in 2012. She currently teaches dance and theater courses and co-directs the afterschool theater program at South High.
