2016-2017 College Admission Representative and Career Representative Visit Procedures

We have dozens of representatives from colleges across the country and all branches of the military coming to visit with you—South students—about the opportunities available at their respective colleges and programs.  Please see the information below and store it in a place you can reference it later this fall and again next spring.

Where is the schedule of what colleges/institutions are visiting South High?

The full list of scheduled reps is available:

  •  in print on the bulletin board outside the CCC (room 246)
  •  online through your Naviance account

We’ll remind you of upcoming rep visits:

  • Daily announcements
  • Naviance if student has added the visiting college to “College/University I am Thinking About
  • Bi-weekly CCC Happenings emailed out to all students (lists any visits for that week and the following week)
  • South CCC Website

How can students attend a college, career or military rep visit?

Step 1: Students should sign up on Naviance ahead of time. Passes will be delivered to their first hour class.

Step 2: STUDENT MUST HAVE A SIGNED REP VISIT PASS IN ORDER TO ATTEND! Teacher must approve and sign pass to attend visit. It is up to the discretion of the teacher as to whether a student is able to leave class to attend.

Step 3: Come to the CCC at the scheduled visit time with your Rep Visit Pass (signed by the CCC Coordinator and your teacher).

New this year, South CCC will have Career Representative Visits for students who are interested in learning more about particular career pathways! More information to come.
