From the South High Foundation: "The annual pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Foundation, is going on hiatus for a year. We are looking for someone, or a couple of someones, to step forwad to coordinate this event in 2018. If that person is you, please call us at 612.668.4344."

Students take over teaching!

South teachers are experiencing a role reversal, getting schooled by students of South's Gender Sexuality Alliance. The workshops, "Gay is OK," "It's not a phase, Mom," and "Break the Binary," are presented by students Ash, Reya, Red and Maren, and merit professional development credit for teachers! Attendance is voluntary, as is student time in planning and presenting. See reviews of first week session, "Gay is OK."
