Race 2 Justice Day set

South High Race 2 Justice Day, formerly known as Racial Justice Day, is set for Thursday, Feb. 22––a mandatory school day, devoted to student-led workshops and keynote presentations with the goal of increasing social awareness, cultural understanding and acceptance.

Get published in The Maze!

See your work in print! The Maze, South's student literary arts magazine, is seeking submissions. Submit: poetry, short stories, excerpts of longer works, creative non-fiction, cartoons, drawings, photographs, and visual arts. Give hardcopy submissions to Corinth Matera in room 326A. Deadline is Friday, Mar. 2.

Bilingual Career Talk features legal justice pros

Students are invited to learn about careers in Law Enforcement and Criminal justice at the Bilingual Career Talk next Friday, Feb. 23 | 9:30-11:30 a.m. | Media Center - Lab 261. Somali-speaking/English-speaking professionals will share insights on their respective career paths. Get ticktets from Ms. Hussein | See flyer | Space limited.

"Parents United for South High" needs you. Laudable efforts, undertaken by a handful of parents, are in the works. See a few here.
