The South High Media Center is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Students have access to thirty computers in the library as well as over 30,000 books, magazines and other resources.  The building network provides access to the Media Center Catalog and thousands of on-line journals via the Electronic Library of Minnesota.

Most computers in the building have Microsoft Office, providing word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software to all students. 

Four computer labs are also available for classes to use during the school day.  One of the four labs is a Mac lab, providing students more opportunities for multi-media projects.

 Read books on Nooks (e-readers)that are available for students to check out.

Both media specialists provide reference and reading/viewing/technology planning with classroom teachers and offer training in technology skills.
