As the season began, hard work and dedication was the norm.  Runners bonded with their teammates and throughout the season their times improved.  The new runners fit it extremely well.

The first meet of the season was the Anoka Rum River Invitational.  The team finished in 15th place and senior Shira Breen was the fastest Tiger.

At the Burnsville Blaze Invitational, South finished in sixth place, Senior Olivia Strebe was the lead Tiger.

At the Mustang Invitational in Mounds View, the Tigers had enough runners to enter both the Gold and Green divisions.  In both, the Tigers finished 16th.  Junior Hanna Warling placed ninth in the Gold Division.  Junior Henan Walz was the best Tiger in the Green Division.

The next day, the Tigers participated in the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota.  The Tigers finished 34th, with Olivia Strebe finishing 78th out of 445 runners!

South shocked the field winning the White Division of the Blaine Bengal Invitational.  Five South runners, led by Olivia Strebe, finished in the top 15 runners.

The Tigers travelled to Duluth for the Swain Meet.  The Tigers finished 17th in Class AA.  Hanna Warling was the fastest Tiger runner.

Next up for the Tigers was the Conference Meet.  South finished in third place.  Hanna Warling, eighth place, Shira Breen, ninth, Celina Barnett-Cashman, 12th, Olivia Strebe, 17th and Kaitlyn Mulhern, 18th, were the Tigers who scored for the team tally.

As a warm-up for the Regions, the Tigers participated in the Lefty Wright Grade Level Invitational.  There were not enough runners for a team score for the Juniors and Seniors.  The Tigers finished 19th in the Sophomore and under category.

The last meet of the season was the Region 6AA Meet.  South finished in 11th place.  Hanna Warling was the top Tiger.

Mark Gross again led the program.  He was assisted by Jackie Lawrence and Brittany Pentek.
