South opened the season with the hopes of reclaiming their conference title.  Head Coach Jeff Sanders knew it would be tough against the combined Southwest/Washburn team.

South opened the season against HREN.  In a very close score, the Tigers barely won, 69-64.

The Tigers participated in the Marauder Invitational, hosted by the Southwest/Washburn team.  South finished in 5th place, one spot ahead of last place Cold Spring-Rocori. 

South faced defending champions Southwest/Washburn.  The Tigers discovered why they were the favorite to take the championship again, as South fell 102-79.

South then competed at the Eau Claire Relays.  Unfortunately for the Tigers, they did not score a point and finished last. 

The Conference Relays were the next meet.  Southwest/Washburn again took home the gold.

South faced HREN in their next meet.  Both teams seemed evenly matched, with the Tigers pulling out a 37-32 win.

South competed in the Region 6AA True Team Meet.  The Tigers finished in 6th place scoring 432.5 points.  The other teams all finished ahead of the Tigers, with Edina winning, scoring 1144.5 points.

South and Southwest/Washburn faced off for the second time of the season.  The score of this meet was closer, but again, the Tigers fell.  The final score was 57-44.

South finished the regular season with a 95-84 loss to Shakopee.

Southwest/Washburn again took home the title in the Conference Meet.

Eight teams competed in the Region 6AA meet.  South finished in last place, managing only 92 points.
