With the graduation of four all-conference players, again the Tigers were not believed to be one of the teams to be in contention.

The Tigers opened the season with a 2-0 win over Washburn.  The Millers were expected to be one of the teams to beat for the title.  This was followed by an easy 16-0 win over North.

South then took on Southwest.  As in recent years, both teams were undefeated when they played.  This game was in the early part of the schedule.  The teams fought, but the Tigers won 4-2.  The Tigers expected the second game to be for the title.

South beat up on Henry 8-0 and received good news after the game.  Washburn defeated Southwest.

South defeated Roosevelt, 4-0, and Edison, 10-0.  This set up the game with Washburn.  Washburn’s only loss was to South.  They tied Roosevelt in the prior game.  Washburn needed to win and hope Southwest would defeat the Tigers in the following game.  The game was a defensive struggle.  South managed one goal.  Washburn answered with a goal.  The game ended in a 1-1 tie.  South clinched another conference title.

In the last conference game of the season, the Tigers lost a close 1-0 game to Southwest.

Two non-conference scores were reported, both ties!  The Tigers and St. Paul Central played to a scoreless tie.  Against St. Paul Como Park, the final was 2-2.

Again, the Tigers were coached by Amy Cardarelle.
