Five straight conference title and nine in last 10 seasons shows the success that the Tiger Volleyball Team has had in the last decade.  Despite coaching changes and rule changes, the Tigers have adapted to the challenges they faced.  One challenge was a new head coach, Jim Feldman.  Would the team adapt to another coach leading the program?

South opened the conference season with three straight wins.  Henry was the first to fall, 3-1.  Washburn, then Edison, fell by 3-0 scores.

South participated in the Osseo Tournament, winning two matches and losing two.  The Tigers lost to St. Michael Albertville and Osseo.  Wins were over St. Paul Johnson, 25-22, 25-12, and DeLaSalle.

In a non-conference match, the Tigers beat St. Paul Como Park 25-12, 25-23, 26-28, 28-26.

Returning to conference play, the Tigers continued their winning. Southwest and Roosevelt fell 3-0.  North also fell, but the score was not reported, ending the first half.

The second half began the way the first half started.  Henry lost 3-1.  Washburn and Edison fell 3-0.  Southwest put up the toughest fight, falling 3-2.  Roosevelt and North both fell 3-0.  The Tigers clinched their sixth straight title and 10th overall.

In other non-conference matches, the Tigers 2-4 in tournament games, beating Forest Lake and Moose Lake/Willow River 2-1 each.  South lost to Alexandria, Mounds View and St. Louis Park 2-0 each, and Duluth East 2-1.

In a non-conference match, the Tigers defeated Robbinsdale Cooper 3-1.

In the Twin City Championship, the Tigers took on St. Paul Central.  The Tigers won 25-17, 25-21, 25-23, to take home their second Twin City Title.

After the season, four Tigers were named to the All-Conference team, Ella COmeau, Barbara Simmons, Kirstin Smith, and Vanessa Stacknik.

After the season, Coach Feldman resigned.
