South volleyball is on a roll.  Twenty-one straight conference wins to start the season.  The Tigers had no intention of stopping, but the other six teams were going to try their hardest to end the streak.

South opened the season against Henry.  The Patriots fell 3-0, increasing the streak to 22 matches.

North was the next to fall. The score was not reported.

Washburn, Edison, Roosevelt and Southwest all went down by 3-0 scores.

After 15 straight conference matches where the scores were reported, someone finally won a game against the Tigers.  Henry was that opponent, but they still fell 3-1, raising their winning streak to 28 straight conference matches.

North fell 3-0, as did Washburn and Edison.  The score against Roosevelt was not reported, but the Tigers won the match.  The last conference match of the season was a 3-1 win over Southwest.  The Tigers’ winning streak was up to 33 matches.

South played in the Twin City Championship against St. Paul Central.  In a three-game sweep, the Tigers won their first Twin City Title, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23, after losing their previous six appearances.

Dana Pedeson again coached the Tigers.
