Eighteen straight conference titles.  South has been dominant in the pool.  There seems to be no end in sight.

South opened the defense of their titles against Southwest.  Traditionally, Southwest has given the Tigers a run.  But in recent years, Southwest has fallen on hard time. But it looks as if Southwest is now back.  In a close meet, South won 92-85.

South and the Henry/North squad battled in the next meet. South won easily, 75-45.

Washburn was the next team to fall, 86-71.

The Edison/Roosevelt team tried hard but fell 9-71.  South won their 19th consecutive title.

South retained the Conference Meet title scoring 108 points, while Edison/Roosevelt and Washburn, who tied for second place, only amassed 58.

South again represented Minneapolis in the Twin City meet.  They took on St. Paul Central and defeated them 99.5-86.5.

Head Coach Jeff Sanders finished his 13th season coaching the Tiger swimmers, which tied him with Mike Anderson for longest swimming coach in South History.
