The 2002-2003 soccer season again saw the Tigers as the team to beat for the conference championship.  The celebration began before the first game however, as the team recognized Head Coach Amy Cardarelle as she became the longest serving Girls Soccer Coach in team history.

The celebration was tempered a bit by early non-conference losses.  The Tigers lost to Eastview 5-1 and then fell in a heart-breaker to Rochester Lourdes 2-1.  The Tigers gained their first win of the season over Rochester Mayo, 2-0.

Hunting season, otherwise known as the conference season, opened against North.  The Tigers easily caged the Polars 14-0.  The Tommies were the next team hunted down and beated, 10-0.  The Teddies were also captured 16-0.  Washburn was the next to be cooked, 6-1.

The Tigers were cruising but then game a home and home series against arch-rival Southwest.  The first game was a nail-biter, with the Tigers winning 1-0.  The second game, three days later, was just as close, with South again winning 2-0.

The conference season ended with a 7-0 win over Washburn and two wins over Henry, 9-0 and 9-2.  South again was undefeated and claimed their 11th consecutive conference title.
