After two straight conference titles, the Tigers wanted more.  They wanted to advance to the State Tournament.  Coaches Doug Revsbeck and Greg LaLonde helped the team be aggressive, yet under control.

This season, the conference played a single round instead of two games against each conference opponent.

South opened the season against Washburn and won 3-1.  Roosevelt also fell to the Tigers 3-0.

North and Southwest both fell to the Tigers by 3-1 scores.

Henry and Edison also both lost by 3-0 scores.  South claimed their third consecutive conference championship.

For the second straight season, South and Cretin-Derham Hall faced off in the Twin City Match.  The first game was back and forth with Cretin winning 16-14.  South seemed to run out of steam, as Cretin claimed the title with two more wins, 15-5, and 15-11.

After the season ended, Doug Revsbeck resigned as head coach.
