For the third time in four season, the Tigers started the season with a new head coach.  Wilford Schultz replaced Jim Mihas.  Learning a completely new system every season develops a lack of consistency for the players.  Because of this, the team has not be very successful this season.

The Tigers opened with a 3-1 loss to Washburn.  Washburn controlled the game from start to finish.

The second game gave the Tigers their first win of the season.  Henry was outscored 4-0.

The next two games, against North and Edison, did not have their results reported.  This became frustrating for the players because reporting scores is the easiest form of advertisement.

In the next game, the Tigers took on Roosevelt.  The game went back and forth with neither team taking an advantage.  The game ended in a 1-1 tie

South lost their next three game.  Southwest beat South 3-0.  Eventual conference champion Washburn also shut out the Tigers, 4-0.  Henry also won, 3-2.

As happened earlier in the season, the game scores against North and Edison were not reported.

South won their second and final game of the year when they took on Roosevelt.  The decisive 3-1 victory gave a ray of sunshine to an otherwise dismal season.

South ended their season with a 3-1 loss to Southwest.

The Tigers ended the conference season with a 2-4-1 record.  With the scores available, South ended in third place.  That is because there are no conference results for either Edison or North.  (no scores were turned in for the entire season for those two teams!)
