The 1934-1935 Basketball season was disappointing to the team’s fans.  The team finished in seventh place in the conference, winning only one conference game.

The team played Austin in a non-conference game.  Austin was an extremely powerful team who eventually won the State Championship.  South played Austin so tough that the Tigers won in what today would have been an upset.

With this win behind them, the Tigers started their conference schedule against North.  The Polars shocked the Tigers and won by six, 19-13.  The losses continued to pile up as South lost to Marshall, 25-16, Central, 27-24, Washburn 25-16 and Roosevelt, 47-13.

The Tigers won their only game of the season against West, 24-20.  The Tigers ended their season against Edison in a disappointing loss, 47-23.
