Team Photo not Available

As September rolls around, thoughts of returning to school and to the gridiron fill the thoughts of young men everywhere.  That is no different at South, where Coach Charles Larson had the responsibility of molding the young men into a cohesive team.

South played their first game at the end of September against Hamline University.  Both teams showed the rust of the off-season, but played hard defense ruled the day with both team scoring and the final score ending in a 0-0 tie.

South took on Minneapolis Academy on October 6.  South worked hard and won 11-0.

South played their first game against a Minneapolis public school.  East improved from last season and handed South their first loss, 10-0.

In a close game, South took on St. Paul Central.  Both team battled but the St. Paul school won 6-0.

On November 4, South took on Owatonna.  There is no result of the game available.

South then took on their Alumni.  The former players were not in football shape, but were good enough to hand the current squad an 11-0 defeat.

Against North, South took out their frustrations from recent games and won 39-0.

They then took on St. Paul Central and won their second straight game 16-0.

South finished their season on November 27 against Minneapolis rival, Central.  Unfortunately, there is no record of the score.

South finished with 3-3-1 record (with the results of two games unknown.) Against Minneapolis teams, South was 1-1.
